THE DOG PATCH RAMBLERS is a cooperative of musicians organized in Chicago by founding members Michael Henkel and Keith Kusterer.The music performed is full of soulful energy with roots firmly planted in the great tradition of American music.
*Swing tunes from artists such as Django Reinhardt, Gershwin, Louis Jordan, etc..to the *Country blues of Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Doc Watson, Grateful Dead, Bill Monroe, etc.....to *Early Rock and roll and fresh arrangements of popular tunes by the Beatles, Dean Martin, White Stripes, Led Zepplin, Les Paul and Mary Ford, etc. The DPR bridges the generation gap and guarantees upbeat festivity for all involved!
